THE PROCESS:

1. Consent Forms
2. Taking Pre-scan photos & Pre-Scan (get bite & original teeth measurements)
3. Choose Color
4. Numb, Place Cord & Trim Teeth
5. Final Scan
6. Temporaries (extra charge)
7. Deliver the Veneers 2 days later (Most offices take 2-3 weeks)

PROCESS OF TRIMMING THE TEETH:

Teeth have three main layers: Enamel, Dentin, and Pulp (nerve). The outer layer of Enamel has no nerve, no feeling. It’s similar to like a fingernall and is just for protection purposes.

We remove your bodies natural enamel layer and replace it with our own enamel (porcelain which is much stronger, prettier, and more resistant to cavities
Your tooth will likely be better off with the veneer then it was in its original form

THE PROCESS:

We trim both the front and back of the teeth because:

Retention: If you only trim the front -> no more eating apples because your veneer could fall off. With us you can eat anything you want.
Better Appearance: Veneers look way more
realistic and better
Less likely to crack or break

TEMPORARIES:

Usually we dont do any temporaries. Since you are getting your veneers in just 2 days. No point to make temporaries. After a +4 hour appointment, do you want to spend 1-2 hours for temporaries as the numbing is wearing off. You will be sore and tired and
just want to go home.
If you want temporaries they are an extra charge.

MISSING A TOOTH:

Don’t worry we can usually do veneers. We will do bridge plus veneers.
We can only do veneers until the last tooth you currently have in the back. So if you have no back teeth and want back teeth -> we would need to do dental implants.
Implants do take 3 months to heal. We can explain more in the consult

CROOKED TEETH:

We can do veneers on crooked teeth. Veneers allow 1-2 mm
correction of teeth.
If teeth are extremely crooked it might be nice to do Invisalign and/or braces for just a few months. Not required – but it can make the final result look even better.
