It is normal to have slight sensitivity the next few days. As long as the sensitivity decreases after 2-3 days, there should be no need for concern.
Gums may be tender. This should get better in 1-2 days.
Make sure to take care of your teeth. Fillings can get secondary cavities. Make sure to FLOSS and brush several times a day to avoid getting a secondary cavity.
While your mouth is numb, be careful not to bite your cheek, lip, or tongue. The numbness should subside within a few hours. It is normal to have some muscle tenderness where the injection was given.
