Dr. Dustin Pfundheller, D.M.D, was raised by two public school teachers in Altoona, Wisconsin, a small town two hours east of Minneapolis. As a high school valedictorian, Dustin immersed himself in sports, music, and leadership activities. He majored in mathematics at University of Wisconsin –River Falls setting a university record in honors courses. He was thrilled to escape Wisconsin winters by attending The University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, where he was a housing director and presided over several organizations including: Dental Student Government, The Florida American Student Dental Association, and Graduate Student Government.
Dr. Pfundheller moved to work as a dental surgeon in Singapore. Besides Singapore’s consistent sunshine, he enjoyed a flexible schedule that allowed him to travel. He worked long days in order to bank time off and visit every country in the world! On his journeys, he volunteered as a dentist in over 30 countries – focusing on places that were dire need for volunteers – Pitcairn, Tuvalu, Syria, Israel, Rwanda, Mauritania and many more. In the Western Sahara, he and a group of Spanish interns worked in 120 degree temperatures, aiding hundreds of people who lived in desert tents. Following his time in Yemen, where he met and assisted three sisters suffering from Papillon-Lefevre Syndrome. Even after experiencing the whole world, there’s no place Dr. Pfundheller would rather be than the home state of his alma mater: Florida! He looks forward to meeting patients and improving smiles at The Smile Mission.
Dr Scott is general dentist licensed in multiple states. His passion for dentistry comes from his ability to form long-lasting relationship with his patients while helping them meet and exceed all their dental goals. He is particularly fond of the artistic and cosmetic aspect of the profession and is driven to provide high-quality care to all his patients.
Dr Scott completed his undergraduate education at the University of South Florida with a degree in Chemistry before receiving his DMD from the university of Kentucky College of Dentistry.
Coming from a family of dentist including his father, Dr Scott has many mentors who have taught him the intricacies of being a great dentist, as well as the satisfaction that comes with restoring a patients confidence in their smile.
When he isn’t practing, Dr Scott enjoys spending time outdoors, exercising, traveling, fishing and is an avid sports fan.

Dr. Rophie, originally from Mexico City, graduated as a dentist from Mexico in 2006 and moved to Florida in 2015 after running a his own dental practice in Mexico for several years.
His major passions are dental implants, full mouth reconstructions, and root canals.
Dr. Rophie has lectured in nine countries and loves to volunteer by providing care to underserved communities.

I am blessed to share my life with my wife of 17 years, who also serves the dental community as a dental hygienist, we are proud parents to four wonderful children – two boys and two girls. Dr. Adil Ibrahim is a general dentist specializing in implants and implants surgery, cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, root canals, veneers, dentures, extractions, and composite fillings. He prioritizes the comfort of his patients and enjoys educating them on their treatment plans.
Dr. Adil’s goal is to work with the patient in achieving the best possible smile for them. Dr. Ibrahim received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Dr. Adil is a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry a feat only some dentists have accomplished. Dr Adil is also a member of the American Dental Association and a volunteer at the Red Crescent Clinic in Tampa. He speaks both English and Arabic fluently. In his free time, Dr. Ibrahim enjoys watching and playing soccer and spending time with family and friends. He is a big Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan.
Dr. Adel Khatib earned his dental degree from University of Jordan in 2010, after practicing for few years, Dr. Khatib completed 2 years Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Nova Southeastern University. Due to his excellence in his work and leadership skills, he was appointed chief resident and awarded the Resident of the year award at the end of the program. Dr. Khatib was later appointed to lead the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Nova Southeastern University where he supervised and taught residents and students to the highest standards of care and helped them in treating various complex cases and achieve the best outcome for their patients.
Dr. Khatib utilizes his education and expertise in treating his patients on a daily basis, with more than 14 years of experience, he understands patients needs and is able to address their problems in a very calm and comforting environment and achieving highest quality of results.
Dr. Khatib has also earned Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and graduated with honors while working as program director at Nova Southeastern University, as Dr. Khatib values education and always keeping up with latest technologies and updates in dentistry and implant dentistry.
Dr. Khatib is an active member in the community and special needs community and participated annually in the Special Olympics as clinical director, in addition to national and international mission trips through mission of mercy in Florida and other organizations.

Originally from Colombia, I began my dental career in Uruguay, earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Universidad de la República in Montevideo in 2010. I then returned to Colombia to complete my specialization in Orthodontics at the Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina in 2013.
In 2018, I successfully validated my credentials for the state of California through the Universidad de La Salle in León, Guanajuato (Mexico). For the following six years, I served as a Managing Dentist and Orthodontist for West Coast Dental, Village Dental Care, and Sunstar Dental within the state of California. In early 2025, I obtained my dental license for the state of Florida, where I currently practice at Smile Mission in Sanford.
Dr Urbina has nearly 20 years of experience, where he started his career in his native home of Lima, Peru where he owned and operated two dental clinics. Coming from a family of accountants, he dared to be different and f ound his passion in dentistry. He loves being able to give people back their confidence through their smile!
Upon moving to the US, he completed an internship in Orthodontics with the University of Florida and continued on to complete his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the University of Florida; Go Gators!
In his spare time, Dr Urbina is an avid soccer player and fan. He enjoys traveling with his wife and two children.
