Do NOT eat hard foods.
Ideal foods are soft foods at room temperature which include the following: mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, yogurt, pasta, noodles, apple sauce, pudding, soup, banana.
Avoid exercise, lifting weights or any other physical activities.
Your teeth are going to be a little sensitive. If the teeth are extremely painful, let us know.
You may take over-the-counter ibuprofen or acetaminophen to help with sensitivity.
After the delivery:
Avoid:
Chewing excessively hard food on the teeth (hard candy, ice, nuts, etc). The veneer/crown is stronger than natural teeth but can still break with extreme force.
Maintenance:
Please take care of your new beautiful teeth. Proper brushing, flossing, and regular 6-month cleanings are important.
Adjustment:
Once you have your veneers bonded to your teeth, it may take your mouth a few days to adjust to having them in your mouth. Your bite may feel different, but this awkwardness should go away after a week.
Bridges:
If you had a bridge done, it is very important you use super floss so you can go under the bridge to help keep it clean.
