Pre Operartive Instruction Aligners
Please be aware this is a simple explanation, in case any doubt please contact us.
THE PROCESS:
1. Sign up for the payment plan
2. Sign the contract
3. Initial x-rays (if we havent done already)
4. Take initial photos
5. Scan your teeth
6. Review Video of Future Teeth Movement (if you want any corrections – they will make you a new video)
7. Approve Video
8. Make aligners in the lab (takes about 1-2 weeks)
9. Come into the clinic to get your aligners
10. Have Buttons and IPR done (advanced plan)
11. Put on the first Tray
USING INSURANCE:
Insurance claim they will pay for braces and then dont. Therefore we reimburse you when/if your insurance pays us.
BUTTONS:
Tooth color temporary fillings placed on the teeth when doing aligners to help the teeth move.
IPR:
Interproximal reduction. Trimming between the teeth slightly to allow space so the teeth can be aligned correctly.
DIFFERENT PLANS:
Simple Very simple cases. Patient is on their own. This is our Aligners: direct competition with Byte, Smile Direct Club and other at home aligners. You come in and scan your teeth and then we give you aligners. We don’t check doing well. We also give you free removable retainers any adjustments. We dont do any buttons or IPR.
Basic This is simple and easier Aligners. We check your Aligners: case everything 3 months to make sure things are at the end
Advanced This is for the normal and difficult cases. We do Aligners: buttons and IPR which is needed for normal and difficult cases. This also includes both whitening at the end and retainers.
MORE THAN ALIGNERS:
We do more than Aligners. Most clinics only do Aligners and you need to go somewhere else for dental work. At The Smile Mission we do implants, cleanings, veneers, gum trimming and nearly all dental procedures. This is extremely helpful if missing teeth, crowded teeth, decay teeth.
