Be prepared to spend hours in the clinic. Most large procedures can be done in under 4 hours, but there are exceptions when the case is more difficult or more procedures are added.
Pre Operartive Instruction Appointment
Eat a BIG meal before your appointment. You wont be able to eat for a long time after starting the procedure.
Arrive 30 minutes early you have a bunch of paperwork to fill out and we want to start treating you at the scheduled time.
Remember we are a VERY BUSY office. Anyone over 15 minutes late is put on a stand by list and which can be a 12 hours wait. So, in summary be early.
Dress in comfortable clothes and in layers. Depending on the work being done you can feel totally comfortable for one hour and next hour be cold.
Apply for financing ahead of time. We have had patients take off from work and come in just to find out they didnt qualify for financing and/or couldnt make the non-credit check downpayment.
If diabetic, make sure you ate some food before coming
If high blood pressure, make sure you have been taking your medicine consistently.
If on blood thinners, check with us about if you should stop or continue them.
If need to pre-med, make sure to take your medicine 1 hour before your appointment.
