This location fixed an issue I had with another dental office.  ALL of the staff were very professional, helpful, kind, and wonderful to work with.  Jeann was my technician and he was absolutely superb!  He asked many questions and constantly checked to make sure the fit was perfect and that I was pleased! Andrea helped me and assisted me with the information that was close to where my brother lives, Sent me the information to the location where I can schedule a consultation to help my brother that suffers from PTSD get his teeth done and she was super nice super sweet and even told me once you get there please let them know that your brother suffers from PTSD so they can take good care of you and to make sure he’s comfortable . Does a tooth extraction hurt?

The area will be completely numbed with local anesthesia before the extraction begins. You may feel pressure or movement during the procedure, but you should not feel sharp pain. Some soreness and swelling are normal afterward and can usually be managed by following your dentist's aftercare instructions.

How long does recovery take?

Most patients begin feeling better within a few days. Initial healing usually takes about one to two weeks, although recovery time varies depending on the type of extraction, the location of the tooth and your overall health. Wisdom teeth and complex extractions may require additional recovery time.

Can I return to work the next day?

Many patients can return to work the following day after a simple extraction, especially if their job is not physically demanding. After a complex extraction or wisdom tooth removal, you may need additional time to rest. Your dentist will provide a recommendation based on your specific procedure.

What can I eat after an extraction?

Choose soft, cool or lukewarm foods such as yogurt, applesauce, mashed potatoes, eggs, pasta and smoothies eaten with a spoon. Avoid hard, crunchy, spicy or very hot foods while the area begins to heal. Do not use a straw, as suction may disturb the blood clot that protects the extraction site.

When can I smoke or vape?

Do not smoke or vape for at least 72 hours after an extraction. Smoking and vaping can delay healing and increase the risk of infection and dry socket. Avoiding them for longer is strongly recommended, especially after wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting or implant treatment. Always follow your dentist's specific instructions.

Do I need a bone graft?

Can the tooth be replaced with an implant?

In many cases, yes. A dental implant can replace a missing tooth after the extraction site has healed. Depending on the condition of the bone and whether infection is present, the implant
may be placed immediately or during a later appointment. Your dentist will determine the safest treatment timeline for you.
